Up close, each groove reveals a deep, dark interior that contrasts sharply against the wood face, giving the surface a rhythmic, striped character.

Under side light, the grooves become more pronounced and the surface takes on a sculptural, three-dimensional quality. Under overhead light, the same surface reads calmer and more uniform. Those grooves are channeling sound energy into absorptive material behind the panel.

Groove width, spacing, and depth all affect how much sound gets through and at which frequencies. Narrower grooves at tighter spacing create a denser visual pattern and broader absorption. Wider spacing opens up the surface for a cleaner look with more targeted performance.
